JONAPWD ANAMBRA CONGRATULATES SOLUDO AND HIS DEPUTY: SAYING THAT THEIR WINNING IS PRAYER ANSWERED
Rising from the State Executive Council Meeting of The Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) Anambra State Chapter on the 12th of November, 2021 at their state Secretariat, Awka.
The Association and the entire Disability community in Anambra State wish to congratulate you and your deputy for emerging winner of the just concluded governorship election in Anambra State despite every tension and uncertainties. Your emergence as the 21st Governor of our dear state has vindicated the undisputable achievements accrued to APGA Government, quality and inclusive leadership of His Excellency, Chief Dr. Willie Madaburochukwu Obiano (The Consoler of Persons with Disabilities) including your outstanding Pedigree in your service to humanity. Your victory is divine and peoples wish including JONAPWD Members who came out enmass on the election day despite their challenges to be part of the history knowing fully well that in your reign, your programs and activities will be inclusive of and accessible to persons with disabilities without any complications (with specific actions, equality of opportunity etc). Your winning is our prayer answered.
We also appreciate INEC for the job weldone especially making the electoral processes inclusive and accessible to Persons with Disabilities and as well thanked the security agencies for their professional disposition to Persons with disabilities during the election.
JONAPWD Anambra also appreciates other governorship aspirants from PDP, YPP, ADC, etc for their spirit of sportsmanship and call on those yet to accept the result to think twice for the future of Ndi Anambra.
It is now our prayer that God Almighty in His infinite mercy will grant you and your deputy the required wisdom and divine grace to carry out your Executive functions without fear or favour so that the expectation of Ndi Anambra in general and persons with disabilities in particular will be fully actualized to the shame of the devil.
We wish you a successful tenure as we pledged to pray for you continuously.
